Technicians will first be going around door to door to clean the machines from the inside out. This process will generally only take 5 -10 minutes. Technicians will use compressed air to force any lint or debris that is caught in the machine out into the actual dryer vent duct line. This will ensure that the inside of the machine is as clean as possible and will increase efficiency and performance as well as reduce drying time and power consumption.

Make arrangements with the Technicians onsite.

If you miss your time, our Technicians will always try to accommodate any requests if still on site, but are not able to guarantee last minute appointments.
If you are unable to make arrangements to have your Dryer Cleaned from the inside, rest assured, your dryer vent duct will still be cleaned from the outside. Cleaning from the inside is more about the physical condition and performance of the machine. It is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Some Helpful tips from your Friends at Alpha Carpet and Duct Cleaning:

Please remove any items or clothing from inside the machine.

Please do not move or disconnect the machine. This may cause further issues.

Technicians will be bringing an Air Line, a Shop Vac, and drop cloths into your home.

Technicians will make brief, yet substantial noise. Please make sure any pets are safely located in a closed room.

Technicians will clean their work area and completely remove any mess made in the process.
Exterior Dryer Vent Cleaning
(Mandatory Requirement)
Our Technicians will not need to interrupt you during the exterior cleaning process. We do however requiring parking will have a truck running during the process. Technicians will use a gentle but powerful reverse air skip that will propel itself from the exterior dryer vent cover all the way down to the back of the Dryer. Compressed air jet will clean the inside of the duct and any lint or debris will be forced outwards to the exterior of the building.
Depending on the Location of exterior Dryer Vents Technicians may need to deploy ladders or other safety equipment.

Please watch out for Cones and marked worksite areas.

Compressed Air-Lines can pose tripping hazards. Our technicians keep safety top of mind and will mark any hazards but please watch your step in work area(s).

Technicians will clean up any mess made in the process however some small traces of lint may still be present.
